These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Accent Changer website and related online tools (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

The Service

Accent Changer provides browser-based tools to modify the accent of speech in audio or video while aiming to preserve the speaker's vocal identity. Features, supported formats, accents, and processing limits may change at any time.

We may offer free and paid access. Where paid plans apply, additional billing terms presented at checkout also apply.

Eligibility

You must be old enough to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction and comply with all laws that apply to you. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to upload and process any content you submit.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for unlawful, harmful, deceptive, or abusive purposes
• Upload content you do not have permission to use or distribute
• Attempt to reverse engineer, disrupt, overload, or circumvent security or usage limits
• Misrepresent generated audio as a real recording of another person without disclosure where required by law
• Use the Service to create content that infringes intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights

We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms or pose a risk to the Service or other users.

Your content

You retain ownership of content you upload, subject to any rights of third parties embodied in that content. You grant us a limited license to host, process, transmit, and display your content solely to operate and improve the Service and provide output you request.

You are solely responsible for how you use generated audio, including compliance with platform rules, advertising standards, employment law, and consent requirements when a voice resembles a real individual.

Intellectual property

The Service, including its design, branding, software, and documentation, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any right to use our trademarks or branding except as necessary to use the Service in the ordinary course.

Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not guarantee that:

• Output will sound exactly like a native speaker or any specific person
• Processing will be error-free, uninterrupted, or meet your expectations
• Results are suitable for legal, medical, hiring, or other high-stakes decisions

Generated audio is a product of automated processing. You should review output before publishing or relying on it.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we and our affiliates, officers, employees, and suppliers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business opportunities arising from your use of the Service.

Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for the Service in the twelve months before the claim or (b) fifty US dollars, except where liability cannot be limited under applicable law.

Indemnity

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold us harmless from claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

Third-party links and services

The Service may reference or integrate third-party sites or tools. We are not responsible for third-party content, policies, or practices.

Changes

We may modify the Service or these Terms at any time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Your continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or discontinue the Service, or your access to it, with or without notice, for any reason permitted by law.

General

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service. If any provision is held invalid, the remaining provisions remain in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of that provision.

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable where the Service operator is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory consumer protections in your country require otherwise.
